In response to the COVID Pandemic, the Indiana District Export Council (IDEC) has launched a new export education program that debuted January 21, 2021 – Export Lunch & Learns. As the Pandemic eases, IDEC will continue its virtual lunch programs based on their popularity and ease of participation state-wide. We are joined in this effort by the US Commercial Service – Indiana Office.
Export Lunch & Learn programs from the Indiana DEC are held every other month on the third Thursdays in January, March, May, July, September and November, we’ll be hosting an hour-long virtual webinar over lunch at noon to discuss timely export development topics that will benefit those throughout Indiana interested in improving and growing their exports. This is a sensible way to stay export-aware while maintaining our social distancing until we can all meet again. Many excellent programs are also available online from other DECs and from the National DEC.
U.S. Commercial Service Events: The USCS organizes hundreds of domestic and overseas trade events each year, and often complements them with related seminars, business match-making, and export counseling. It also maintains an excellent online event database, which you can search by topic, industry, and country. Well worth a look!
