The Indiana State Department of Agriculture (ISDA), through its Economic Development Division, is focused on helping Hoosier companies explore opportunities for exporting their products around the world. Expanding Indiana companies’ access to international markets is an important component of ISDA’s economic development strategy and one that pays great returns to our state economy. According to the United States Department of Agriculture’s most recent Agricultural Census, Indiana ranks 8th nationwide with more than $4.6 billion in annual agricultural export sales.
Managing Indiana’s membership with the Food Export Association of the Midwest, ISDA promotes programs and services specifically for exporters. These include exporter education, market entry and market promotion.
