Company Description: The Indiana State Department of Agriculture (ISDA) was established as a state agency by the Legislature in 2005. ISDA’s major responsibilities include advocacy for Indiana agriculture at the local, state, and federal levels, managing soil conservation programs, promoting economic development and agricultural innovation, serving as a regulatory ombudsman for agricultural businesses, and licensing grain firms throughout the state.
Experience Summary: Drew advocates for Indiana agribusinesses in global markets and facilitates market access for Hoosier agricultural exports along the value-chain. In his role, he serves as the Indiana Marketing Director through a partnership with Food Export Association of the Midwest USA, and also as an agribusiness advisor for the Indiana Small Business Development Center’s Agribusiness Initiative, specializing in agricultural exports and international marketing. An Iowa native, Drew graduated with a B.S. in Economics and International Studies from Iowa State University before moving to Indiana in 2015, where he earned his M.P.A. from Indiana University-Bloomington Paul H. O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs.
