Experience Summary: Previously in the defense industry, Nate is a former Army officer, now recruiting for West Point, with 25 years of international management experience. For a former employer, Nate managed government relations at the foreign and federal levels, often working with the US Chamber of Commerce, among others, and has testified before Congress on trade and other issues. He has been quoted in The Economist and Wall Street Journal. Nate is fluent in Spanish, nearly fluent in German and French, and speaks basic Arabic and Portuguese. Nate was elected to Henry County Council for three terms and served as President from 2009-2019. Nate serves as an Advisory Board Member of the National Association of District Export Councils and its Trade Policy Committee. He has an MBA in International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and a BS in Middle Eastern Studies from the US Military Academy at West Point.
