Our most recent conference on May 8th highlighted trade opportunities between Indiana companies and ASEAN. ASEAN is the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, which includes Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. These countries boast a population exceeding 650 million and a GDP of $3.8 trillion, ASEAN is home to one of the world’s fastest-growing economies.
The conference provided a platform to learn about this thriving market. The US exported roughly $107 billion in goods to ASEAN in 2023— up 25% from 2019. More notably, Indiana’s exports to the region surged by 52%.
